Have you thought about SIP? Set yourself up an Asterisk server (freeware) and host your own VOIP system. Then you can use a softphone like X-lite (also freeware) and talk all you want.
I'm looking at the Gizmo SIP system. It looks promising, and is mostly turnkey.
I've been looking at Asterisk for a client, and I think it might be a bit of overkill for our little podcast.
I'm also considering TalkShoe, which is a completely different kind of solution.
From Jack's post, all I know is that "Gizmo" was a character in a movie -- with an Axton named Hoyt...
An asterisk looks like * ...
And TalkShoe was something Agent Smart did...so he always wore clean socks...

Yes, it's looking good to record later tonight (Friday). But just to be clear, the ep probably won't make it online till Sat night at the earliest. Hey, I get to go flying too.
